George Pollock is an Honours Graduate of the University of Glasgow and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1976. Following his apprenticeship to JNO Shaughnessy Quigley & McColl, George pursued his career as a Court Practitioner in both criminal and civil cases firstly in Glasgow and thereafter in Stirling before in 1994 being admitted as one of the second batch of Solicitor Advocates to be admitted following upon their creation in 1993. For many years Central Scotland’s only practising Solicitor Advocate his career progressed to certification as a Senior Solicitor Advocate in 2009. 

George is regularly instructed by firms throughout the Central belt, Edinburgh and Glasgow and that in regard to the whole gamut of criminal offences, common law or statutory.  He has a particular interest in trials work where his instructed cases have featured murders, serious violence, all forms of sexual offences, Misuse of Drugs and Money Laundering.  As one of the founder members of the Society of Solicitor Advocates George has been its Treasurer since its inception.
